The Richardson Pioneer Fastball League is growing.

With the addition of two more teams, the Richardson Pioneer Men's Fastball League welcomes two new conference sponsors to the league.

The Western Cycle Source For Sports Conference and Pattison Agriculture Conferences will each feature five teams with four teams per conference making the playoffs.

Action in the league started with a Pattison Agriculture Conference game between the Wynyard Blues and Rosebud Junior Royals (formerly Wadena Wildcats).

The Bantam and Midget aged JR Royals picked up the win with a 6-2 victory.  The Jr Royals took a quick 6-0 lead after two innings, while their pitching staff Nathen Pomedli, Koby Faubert, Austin Paquachon combined to give up one earned run in the game.

The winning pitcher was Nathen Pomedli, while Jackson Karakochuk was tagged with the loss for the Blues.

The league now has 10 teams with two Conferences.  The league wraps up with the Playoff Tournament July 1, in Wadena, SK.
