The final saw The Mils versus the White Sox on Sunday again in Balcarres.

Ty Ulmer pitched a fantastic game into the seventh inning but had to be relieved because of pitch count rules.

Jeff Stewart got the Mils on the board with a home run in bottom of secomd. This was followed by another run off Nathan Houston’s sac fly in third.

It was a great game with the Mils leading 2-0 until the top of sixth when the White Sox scored one.

The White Sox managed to score another run in top of seventh to tie the game.

The Mils weren’t able to answer back in bottom of seventh so the game went into an extra inning.

In extra innings the Mils managed to string together a couple of walks and a base hit to load the bases in the bottom of the eighth when a passed ball allowed the winning run to score.

It was an exciting finish to a very successful season for the boys.
