Saturday (Jan. 9), was a particularly good day for Chris Rakochy.
With the unseasonably warm weather Rakochy went ice fishing at Sandy Beach on Good Spirit Lake, and managed to catch a big one.
Before the afternoon's fishing was cpmplete Rakochy landed a North Pike that tipped the scales at holding a 22 pounds and measured out at 43 inches in length.
