With the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL)’s inaugural season in its second month of play, the league has launched today a brand new podcast series called ‘The CEBL Show’. The podcast will be hosted by TSN 1150 host, Sean Woodley.

With new episodes every week, the podcast series will feature guests from around the league and the world of basketball, as well as provide insights and updates on everything happening around the world of CEBL.

The first episode, titled ‘How To Make History?’ features league commissioner, Mike Morreale and promises to be a fun and lighthearted, yet informative episode.

Fans can subscribe and tune into the podcast via iTunes, Spotify and iTunes.

With a heavy emphasis on an array of entertainment before, during, and after games, the CEBL, a first division league partner of Canada Basketball, is modelled after top international professional leagues, using FIBA (International Basketball Federation) rules, and player and referee standards set by Canada Basketball. A league created by Canadians for Canadians, CEBL rosters will be comprised of at least 70 percent Canadian players, many playing professionally in North America and overseas during the traditional basketball season.

Each CEBL team play 10 home and 10 road games during the 15-week regular season. Teams will all play each other twice at home and twice on the road. The final day of the season is August 15, and four teams will then advance to the championship weekend tournament held in Saskatoon, between August 22 - 25.
