Cardinals meet dogs

The July 31 game between the Yorkton Cardinals and the Weyburn Beavers was also Paws and Claws night at Jubilee Park. Attendees had the chance to meet some of the rescue dogs which Paws and Claws has available for adoption, and possibly even gain a new family member.

A volunteer-run non-profit organization, Paws and Claws Animal Rescue provides foster care for animals until they are able to find their new forever home. They are funded by adoption fees and donations, which help them provide medical care to the animals that need it.
