It’s almost Cardinal baseball time in Yorkton.
And in preparation for the first pitch in the upcoming Western Canadian Baseball League season the local franchise is seeking some help.
The Cardinals are in need of billets for the upcoming season.
The players will be here from last week in May until early August.
The club pays $400 a month per player, ($800 a month if you have two players), and gives a season ticket per player as well.
Mike Stackhouse with the Cardinal organization said having players stay with you for the summer can be a rewarding experience.
“In some cases, you end up with a 'family member' for life,” he said.
