A Diving Clinic was recently held at the Access Communications Water Park at the Gallagher Centre in Yorkton.
The clinic that was coached by Jessica Resler, Aquatic Coordinator at the waterpark, a Dive Sask Certified Coach and former Division 1 NCAA Diver at Clemson University.
“We had a total of 10 children participate in a three-day, six-hour Diving Clinic where we taught how to safely use the diving board and the basics of the sport,” she explained.
“Children walked away with physical literacy skills that allowed them to learn dives forward and backwards, from a standing, rolling, and jumping position from our one-meter diving board in our facility.”
