Fishing Lake taken out by Jr. Royals

The Jr. Royals took on the Fishing Lake Cubs in the Richardson Pioneer Fastball League.
Nathen Pomedli went 3-3 and combined with Koby Faubert for 12 strikeouts as Junior Royals came back from a 4-1 deficit to remain undefeated. Solid defence by the likes of Logan Schultz in CF and Griffen Helberg at SS would help the Juniors to the win. The turning point would be in the 4th inning when the Cubs loaded the bases with none out before a line out to 3B Josh Ochitwa, who would double off two runners followed by a ground out, resulting in no runs scored. On the Cubs’ end, Ryan Kayseas would reach base three times. The final score was Rosebud Jr. Royals - 8, Fishing Lake - 5.
