Saturday, July 16th at Douglas Park in Regina with 18 teams from across the province competing in 4 Divisions. Yorkton Special Olympics bocce teams did well.

Saturday, July 16th at Douglas Park in Regina with 18 teams from across the province competing in 4 Divisions. Yorkton Special Olympics bocce teams did well. Team I - Mike Brown, Samanta DeGroot, Greg Weber and Krystal Peterson managed to win bronze medals against some very strong teams,. The team is coached by Pam Schmuck. Yorkton team II - Dustin Miller, Cara Spokowski, Kaleb Krakalovich and Nadia Semenuik, coached by Marge Weber and Caroline Krakalovich won Silver Medals.  Yorkton team III - Stacey Pasloski, Michael Schmuck, Tabitha Cherry and Scott Weinheimer, coached by Betty-Ann Shalkowsky won all their games and won Gold medals. Team 4-Claude Perron and Dustin Sobkow from Yorkton along with two imports from Moose Jaw, coached by Sherry Pasloski came home with Bronze medals. A good time was had by all the athletes, coaches and loyal supporters who made the trip to cheer the teams on.
