Janeen Pellatt, rrom Yorkton, was recently named the Female Athlete of the Week at Olds College in Alberta.
Pellatt, a second-year Sports Management student who is on the Broncos women’s volleyball team had a strong showing on the weekend against the Lethbridge Kodiaks. She contributed one service ace, five kills and one block Friday in a 3-1 win.
The middle followed that up Saturday with one service ace, eight kills and one block.
According to a college release Pellat “has shown great leadership and reliability so far this season and has been a big contributor to the Broncos success.”
