Richardson Pioneer League involved

The Richardson Pioneer League will be involved in an event for a good causeJune 4.

That day from   5:30-7:30 there will be a BBQ for Tessa Anderson at the Wadena McClymont Lions Sports Grounds.

Four-year-old Tessa has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. Tessa is daughter to Travis and Amy and sister to Taitum. Taitum's Learn to Play Ball team decided to put on a BBQ during some local ball games in Wadena with cheeseburgers, smokies, drinks, and snacks.

The ball games starting at 6:30 pm that night include U15 Baseball: Wadena Wildcats vs Foam Lake Falcons, Squirt Softball: Wadena Wildcats vs Muenster Red Sox, and in the Richardson Pioneer Men’s Fastball League: the Rosebud Royalsvs Fishing Lake Cubs.

Rosebud Junior Royals 2

WP James Anderson 

Foam Lake Merchants played the Rosebud Jr. Royals at home. Merchants had hot bats early which got them out to a quick lead. Korby Koshman, Kyle Jones, and Logan Kristjanson led the Merchants offense with James Anderson and Ryan Junop shutting down the Rosebud bats.

Jr. Royals scored 3 in the bottom of 7, with Luke Scutchings hitting the game ending single with 2 outs.

Game was 2-1 Rhein after 4 before two big innings by the potent Rhein offence.

He got a home run too along with Logan Kristjanson for us. Francis Bird had a home run for Da Boyz.
