SJHL season on pause until after Christmas

With the announcement today by the Saskatchewan Government and Saskatchewan Health, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League will not be playing any games after Friday at 12:01 a.m. until after Christmas, reports the league's website.

With the announcement today by the Saskatchewan Government and Saskatchewan Health, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League will not be playing any games after Friday at 12:01 a.m. until after Christmas, reports the league's website.

"Once the SJHL receives direction from Saskatchewan Government and Saskatchewan Health as to when we can commence play an announcement will be made," states the site.

Locally, on the Yorkton Hyundai Terriers Facebook page there was a statement "with the recent announcement by the Saskatchewan government, we have been ordered to stop all hockey operations until December 17th."
