Terriers sign goaltending prospect

The Yorkton Terriers have signed a goaltending prospect.

Kennedy Cooper was the starting goalie for the Midget AAA team in Sherwood Park, last season.

“He had a strong year with them and had a strong showing at spring camp,” said Terrier head coach and general manager Mat Hehr. “Our Alberta scouts (Matt Woiken and Mitch Kulikoski) did a great job of identifying him.

“We had already signed a few of his teammates and friends as well, so there will be lots of familiarity come August with the new players.”
